The Llinars del Vallès City Council has held the awards ceremony for the II Tomàs Nogueras Amateur Theatre Contest-Show, recognizing the best productions presented at the event.

The municipality of Llinars del Vallès, with a long amateur theatre tradition, hosted the awards ceremony for the II Tomàs Nogueras Contest-Show. This initiative, promoted by the Teatre Auditori and the City Council, aims to recover the legacy of Tomàs Nogueras, a key figure in promoting local amateur theatre until his passing in 2018.
In this biennial edition, 43 proposals were submitted, from which 6 shows were selected for their connection to memory, tradition, and the great texts of Catalan theatre. The contest, held last September, also included non-competitive participation from two local companies with long careers.
The participating productions were: Un cel de plom (Qteatre), Maria Rosa (Grup de Teatre ACR Fals), Fitzroy (Komik Grup de Teatre), La Barca sense pescador (Totshicaben), L’Hostal de les tres Camèlies (Grup Grana Teatre), Baby Shower (Amics del Teatre d’Ullastrell), Molt soroll per no res (Catarsi Teatre, out of competition), and Memòries de la guerra (Till-Tall Grup de Teatre, out of competition).
The awards ceremony took place on October 23rd. As a prelude, the audience enjoyed the play Lorca, by Joel Minguet.

Congratulations to all the award winners!
