The provisional assessment of the rainfall episode in Llinars indicates minor affectations, with no personal injuries reported. Four vehicles could not be removed from the stream as their owners could not be contacted; two of these were swept away by the water, fortunately without causing personal harm.
In the rural environment, small earth slides occurred on some paths and two trees fell, one on the path to Can Jané and another in the Llinars Park industrial estate. Both trees have been removed, and all lower passages of streams and torrents have been cleaned.
The educational centers Escola Bressol Petits Estels, Can Lletres, Escola Municipal de Música, Escola Damià Mateu, and Institut Giola registered no significant incidents. At the Escola Salvador Sanromà, the playgrounds were flooded and water entered the gymnasium and the early childhood area; the interior spaces have already been cleaned, and work will be done to resolve the playground affectations.
Since the activation of the Civil Protection alert, the Local Police, the Municipal Brigade, and other City Council staff have worked on prevention and response to the incidents. Members of the ADF de Llinars have also collaborated.
The City Council thanks the citizens for following Civil Protection's instructions, especially regarding mobility, and the neighbors for their collaboration in cleaning mud and vegetation debris.
