Registrations can be made online through a form on the municipal website Montmeló.cat, or in person at the municipal pavilion during opening hours. If there are still places available on the day of the walk, participants can also register up to 30 minutes before the start, which will be at 9 AM, from the Jardins de la Torreta.
The well-known Ruta de les Fonts is a completely amateur route with a circular course, starting and ending in Montmeló. It travels along forest paths and hidden trails, allowing participants to discover a surprising, beautiful, and little-known area.
Four routes are offered for all levels: the mini route (approx. 7.5 km), ideal for families; the short route (approx. 15 km), with low-medium physical demand; the long route (approx. 18 km), with medium physical demand, suitable for walking or running; and the XXL route (approx. 24 km), with high physical demand, recommended for regular mountain runners and only following the Wikiloc track.
The registration fee is 12 euros, and places are limited, so early registration is recommended. The fee includes refreshments, breakfast upon arrival, and the 2026 Ruta de les Fonts t-shirt.
In-person registrations at the Municipal Pavilion will be accepted from October 19th to November 2nd, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM, or until bibs are sold out. Before the walk begins, food donations will be collected for the pantry of Càritas Parroquial Montmeló.
