This Friday's ordinary plenary session in Alcover will feature three motions presented by Alcoverencs pel Canvi (ApC). One of them calls for the urgent commencement of work to eliminate railway level crossings within the municipal boundaries.
The first motion will express the council's opposition to the installation of an industrial and urban waste plant by the company Valogreene Econova SL in the neighboring town of La Selva del Camp.
The second proposal will advocate for educational quality, recognition of teaching professionals, and dialogue to improve the education system.
In addition to the motions, the plenary will also include the approval of the agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valls to establish a branch of this entity in the municipality of Alcover, as well as other routine administrative matters.
