The Cabra del Camp City Council will hold an event on June 13th to name Joan Rendé Masdéu an adopted son of the municipality, thus recognizing his connection.

The event, scheduled for the morning and midday, is part of a municipal initiative to promote the figures of notable individuals born in or closely linked to Cabra del Camp.
In recent years, the council has honored other personalities such as the artist Enric Adserà Riba, the Oliva Moncusí lineage, psychiatrist Joan Giné i Partagàs, and Josep Maria Rendé Ventosa.
Joan Rendé Masdéu, born in Poblenou, Barcelona, will receive the diploma accrediting him as an adopted son. The tribute will include the reading of a brief account of his professional and personal journey, accompanied by live music.
Subsequently, in the Sala 1 d'octubre, an interview will be screened, gifts will be presented, and a reception will be held.
