According to the police report, the incident took place around 11:30 AM. The individual attempted to take two packs of beer from the establishment. When the worker informed him that the marked price might be incorrect and needed verification, the man decided to leave the store with the intention of not paying for the items.

While attempting to stop him to recover the merchandise, the worker was assaulted by the man, who grabbed her by the neck twice. The intervention of a passerby who was in the area was decisive in preventing the assault from having more serious consequences.

Authorities confirmed that the injuries suffered by the victim are minor. The Valls Local Police have opened the corresponding proceedings regarding this event that occurred on Germans Sant Gabriel street.
