The Mossos d’Esquadra inspected a vehicle repair shop in a municipality in Alt Camp on Friday, January 23, finding multiple irregularities and arresting a client for drug trafficking.

The inspection, carried out around 11:00 AM under the framework of Law 4/2015 on the Protection of Citizen Security, identified two workers who were in an irregular administrative situation, without employment contracts or registration with Social Security. Furthermore, the establishment lacked an activity license.
The Mossos d’Esquadra agents verified that the workshop also lacked a contract with an authorized entity for waste management. Inside the premises, used oils, filters, and other automotive elements were found without the mandatory labeling and separation, as required by current regulations.

During the police operation, a client was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health after narcotics were found in his possession.

Serious safety violations were also observed, such as the inadequate storage of potentially flammable materials, the lack of fire extinguishers, and the absence of documentation proving the maintenance of the machinery used.
Shortly before the inspection concluded, a 25-year-old client arriving to pick up a vehicle not registered in his name was identified. During the search, officers located two bags containing nearly two grams of MDMA and over half a gram of methamphetamine, in addition to 220 euros in small bills. The man, who already had 14 police records for similar offenses, was released with the obligation to appear before the judicial authority when required.
