On Thursday, June 11th, the immersive documentary 'Castells: Patrimoni Viu' premieres in Valls, a 360° virtual reality experience created by Reality Telling and Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls.

The immersive content company Reality Telling, together with the Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls, presents the immersive documentary «Castells: Patrimoni Viu». This 360° virtual reality production, approximately 25 minutes long, will premiere on Thursday, June 11th, at 7:30 PM at the Museu Casteller de Catalunya in Valls.
Funded by the Catalan Government's Department of Culture, the project features the Colla Joves as its protagonist and aims to bring the spirit of 'castells' (human towers) closer to hospitalized individuals and residents in care centers, serving a therapeutic and social purpose.
The documentary deviates from conventional audiovisual formats. The Reality Telling team has developed a specific tool for patients with long-term hospitalizations and residents in care facilities. Its objective is to foster values such as the spirit of overcoming challenges, community work, and self-confidence, which are central to 'casteller' culture.
The company collaborates closely with public hospitals and healthcare centers. For several weeks, its production team accompanied the 'colla' (team) to their rehearsals and to the Santa Úrsula festival last season, capturing the intensity and emotion inherent in the 'casteller' practice.
