Julià de Jòdar to Discuss Independence Goal in Valls

The writer and former CUP deputy, Julià de Jòdar, will participate in the "Objectiu independència" series in Valls' Plaça dels Alls.

The writer and pro-independence intellectual Julià de Jòdar will be the guest of Assemblea Valls to participate in the "Objectiu independència" series at Plaça dels Alls in Valls.

The event will take place next Saturday, May 16, at 12 noon, and Jòdar's talk will be titled "A New Phase".
Jòdar's political career includes his involvement in the Catalan Committee against the Constitution in 1978 and the founding of the Assemblea d'Unitat Popular in the nineties. He also participated in civil society spaces such as the Platform for the Right to Decide and the founding process of the ANC. He served as a deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia for the CUP between 2015 and 2016, and for the past two years, he has been a member of the ANC's National Secretariat.
ANC Valls has also announced the upcoming guests for the series. On Saturday, June 13, the new president of the Assemblea, Josep Vila, will participate, and on Thursday, July 9, it will be Vicent Partal's turn. This latter date will coincide with the entity's annual assembly.
