The Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà Police Basic Area (ABP) registered 190 cases of threats and coercion during 2025, a figure representing a notable increase compared to previous decades and placing it as the second highest since 2011.

Data from the Mossos d’Esquadra's crime statistics viewer reveals that 190 known incidents of threats and coercion were recorded in this police area in 2025. This figure is only surpassed by the record of 211 cases in 2023 and represents a significant rise from previous years. In 2015, for instance, 87 cases were registered, less than half of last year's total.
The year 2025 also stands out for the number of arrests made, with a total of 50, just one less than the historical maximum of 51 in 2021. These figures contrast with those from 2015, when 37 arrests were made, or 2011, with 56 incidents and a lower, though unspecified, number of arrests.
Threats continue to be the dominant crime, accounting for 144 cases in 2025, the same as the previous year. Despite the stability in the volume of reports, arrests linked to threats increased from 34 to 40. Meanwhile, coercion, while having a smaller absolute impact, shows a more significant trend, rising from 8 cases in 2015 to 46 in 2025, with an increase in arrests from 6 to 10 in one year.
Police resolution capacity remains high, with 161 out of 190 known cases resolved in 2025. It should be noted that a resolved case does not always imply an arrest, but rather the identification of the perpetrator or the determination of the main circumstances of the case. Over the period analyzed since 2011, the Alt Camp-Conca de Barberà ABP has accumulated 1,215 known cases, 1,081 resolved, and 282 arrests.
