The Tarragona Provincial Council officially opened the renovated TV-2034 highway this Saturday, February 21st, connecting the towns of Valls, Puigpelat, and Vilabella.

The project required a 3.4 million euro investment to upgrade 4.1 kilometers of the road network. This route is vital for the Alt Camp region, handling nearly 3,400 vehicles every day. The road has been widened to 8 meters to enhance safety and comfort for commuters.

"These works go beyond the material aspect, as they facilitate connections to inland municipalities, making them more accessible."

Noemi Llaurado · President of the Tarragona Provincial Council
Key features of the renovation include the widening of the Torrent del Caus bridge and the construction of a new illuminated roundabout. Over 150 workers participated in the project, which also improved drainage and updated all road signage.
