The Tarragona Provincial Council reopened the TV-2034 road between Valls and Vilabella this Saturday, February 21st, following a 3.4 million euro safety upgrade project.

The project improved three sections of the road used by nearly 3,400 vehicles daily. The works covered 4.1 kilometers across Valls, Puigpelat, and Vilabella, focusing on increasing driver safety and comfort.
Key features include widening the road to 8 meters and expanding the bridge over the Torrent del Caus. A new roundabout was built to calm traffic, alongside new drainage systems, signage, and street lighting.

"These works go beyond the material aspect, as they facilitate connections to inland municipalities, making them more accessible."

Noemí Llauradó · President of the Tarragona Provincial Council
