Vallmoll and El Morell to Host Adifolk 2026 International Folklore Festival

The towns in the Alt Camp region will host performances by groups from Colombia, Turkey, Panama, and Mexico between September 4th and 16th.

The Adifolk International Folklore Festival (JIF) will take place in Vallmoll and El Morell from September 4th to 16th, 2026, featuring groups from various countries.

The Association for the Diffusion of Folklore (Adifolk) has organized a new edition of its International Folklore Festival (JIF), which will be held in different Catalan municipalities during September 2026.
This year, the festival will feature international folklore groups from Colombia, Turkey, and Panama. Catalan ensembles will include the Esbart Egarenc Social de Terrassa, La Trencadansa, the Ballets de Sant Vicenç de Prats de Lluçanès, the Bastoners Estelladors de Prats de Lluçanès, the Cobla Lluïsos de Taradell, and the Cobla Ciutat d’Amposta.
In the Alt Camp region, performances will be concentrated in Vallmoll, coinciding with the Catalan National Day. On Friday, September 11th, at 6:00 PM in the Centre Cultural, the Mexican group Cielito Lindo will perform, accompanied by Moll de Vallmoll.
The day before, on Thursday, September 10th, El Morell will host a performance at 7:30 PM in the Plaça de l’Ajuntament. Attendees can enjoy the Panamanian group Encantos de Mi, accompanied by the Agrupació Sardanista del Morell and L'Embruix.
