The Valls City Council launched the traveling exhibition (In)visibles and (O)cultas this February, aiming to highlight the role of women in science across local primary and secondary schools.

Produced by the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, the exhibition features 24 women scientists from Ancient Egypt to the present day. The project addresses how female contributions have been systematically excluded from official scientific history due to patriarchal structures.
The tour includes stops at Escola Claret, Institut Jaume Huguet, and other local schools throughout February and March. This initiative is part of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science celebrations to encourage STEM vocations among young students.
