Around one hundred people gathered this Tuesday in Valls to demand the future of the Eladi Homs school, leading the Education Department to guarantee the I3 nursery group.

Students, teachers, and families met at Plaça del Blat to highlight the inclusive work of the school, which is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary. The protest was sparked by fears that the lack of new enrollments would lead to the school's closure.
In a last-minute turn of events, educational authorities confirmed that five places will be available for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a verbal commitment to accommodate all necessary applications, a move celebrated by the local community in Alt Camp.
