Vila-rodona Prepares Festive Day for Seniors with Diverse Activities

The celebration, organized by the City Council and various local entities, will include meals, music, and a mass in honor of the municipality's elderly.

The municipality of Vila-rodona will host its traditional Seniors' Festival on May 1, 2026, a day full of activities organized by the City Council and various local associations to honor its elderly residents.

The day will begin at 9:30 AM at the Local de Fires with a breakfast, a collaboration with the Col·lectiu de Dones de Vila-rodona. Gifts will be distributed to attendees at the end of the breakfast.
Subsequently, at 11:00 AM, the Casal cinema hall will host a concert titled Cants del cor, performed by mezzo-soprano and pianist Miracle Seguí, who will offer a repertoire of Catalan songs, opera, and zarzuela.
At 12:30 PM, the parish church will hold a mass in honor of all seniors in the municipality. Afterwards, starting at 2:00 PM, a commemorative lunch will take place for the seventeenth anniversary of the Associació de Jubilats i Pensionistes de Vila-rodona.
The festive day will conclude from 4:30 PM at the Sala del Casal with live music by organist Ruben's, accompanied by refreshments and snacks for all participants.
