The Vila-rodona City Council has approved the project to renovate the pavement and sewerage of four streets in the historic center before the year ends.

The works will focus on Quintana de l’Església street (also known as Quintana del castell), Mare de Déu, Sant Antoni, and Costa de Buc, in the upper part of the municipality.
These improvements were already included in the municipal budgets approved at the beginning of the year. With the project now validated, the council can proceed with awarding the contracts for the works.
The total budget for this intervention is 622,759 euros, including VAT. The intention is to start the works as soon as possible, preferably after the summer and before the end of 2026.
The main objective is the comprehensive renovation of the paving and sewerage system in this historic area, aiming to improve both the urban image and public services.
