The Vallmoll Town Council has completed the installation of a 13.80 kWp self-consumption photovoltaic system at the l'Espígol nursery school, supported by the Tarragona Provincial Council.

The action, promoted by the Vallmoll Town Council, involved placing thirty photovoltaic modules of 460 Wp each, totaling a peak power of 13.80 kWp. The installation is located on the roof of the municipal facility, situated in the Mas Vell Industrial Estate.
The project, which had a total cost of 16,456 euros, was executed by the awarded company Andreu Manteniment Industrial, SL. The design was optimized to avoid shadows and ensure efficient maintenance of the system, which includes a 10 kW three-phase inverter.

The action is part of the municipal ecological transition, seeking energy self-consumption and the sustainability of public facilities.

This investment in ecological transition received support from the Diputació de Tarragona (Tarragona Provincial Council) through a subsidy corresponding to the year 2025, framed within the #ImpulsDipta Plan. The l'Espígol nursery is a key service currently serving 26 children aged between four months and two years.
