The city of Valls will host a conference on May 12 dedicated to fibromyalgia, aiming to raise awareness of the illness and provide tools to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from it.

The event, coinciding with World Fibromyalgia Day, is organized by the Primary Care of the Institut Català de la Salut (ABS Valls Urbà) with the support of Fundació "la Caixa", the Association for FM and SFC Valls i Alt Camp, and the Valls City Council.
The gathering will take place at the Vallsgenera Auditorium and will bring together healthcare professionals, association representatives, and affected individuals, who will share experiences and resources to cope with daily life with this condition.
The program will begin at 11:00 AM with a round table featuring specialists from various health and social fields. Among the speakers will be doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, and social workers, as well as the president of the Association for FM and SFC Valls i Alt Camp and an expert patient.

Living with fibromyalgia is possible. Let's talk about it!

Starting at 12:30 PM, a commemorative manifesto will be read, followed by an aperitif offered by the organizing association. The conference aims to be a space for awareness and support, highlighting the importance of medical, emotional, and social accompaniment in the treatment of fibromyalgia.
