The Reina Sofía Museum has loaned an early folding screen by Salvador Dalí (1923) to the Casa Natal de Dalí in Figueres, presented this Thursday at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid during FITUR.

The presentation of two key artistic projects for the capital of the Alt Empordà region took place in the María Zambrano hall of the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. The event, framed within the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), served to reinforce the cultural projection of Figueres.
The most prominent project is the loan of an oriental-style folding screen, painted by Salvador Dalí around the year 1923. This piece, owned by the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, will be exhibited at the Casa Natal de Dalí, enriching the collection dedicated to the artist's early years.

The event brought together institutional representatives, art professionals, media, and civil society to celebrate the international projection of Dalí's work.

In parallel, the temporary exhibition of the painting The Madonna of Port Lligat was highlighted, which can be visited for the first time at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres. This exhibition will be available to the public until February 22, offering a comprehensive view of Dalí's influence.
