The Roses Town Council will install smart information panels at eight strategic points to control and prevent access saturation in the Cap de Creus Natural Park.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to ensure the park's sustainability, especially during peak tourist months. The panels will provide real-time information regarding parking occupancy and the status of access points to the most sensitive areas.
The main goal of this technology is to redirect visitors towards less crowded or alternative areas when the most sensitive spots, such as coves or the vicinity of the Cap de Creus Lighthouse, are full. This will allow for a better distribution of the human impact on the environment.
The installation of these technological systems is expected to be operational before the start of the summer season, actively contributing to the preservation of this protected natural area in the Alt Empordà region.
