The Vic City Council has relayed a citizen suggestion to install one or two trash bins near the Vivet neighborhood, along the road towards Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer.

The proposal, received through the citizen mailbox, suggests placing the new bins in an area close to the waste collection point, between kilometers 3 and 4 of the aforementioned road. The aim is to facilitate the disposal of litter and bags containing dog waste.
According to the suggestion, the Vivet neighborhood area is undergoing progressive urbanization. This expansion has led to a visible increase in abandoned dog waste on nearby paths, creating a cleanliness and sanitation issue.
The installation of these new bins is considered a positive measure to promote the collection and proper management of pet waste, thereby contributing to cleaner public spaces.
