The ports of Palamós and Roses launched the 2026 cruise season this Wednesday, expecting 70,000 passengers and a total economic impact of 6.7 million euros.

The season began with the arrival of the ship Silver Mouse in Palamós. According to Ports de la Generalitat, 74 stopovers are scheduled across the Costa Brava, marking a significant year for maritime tourism in the region.
Seventeen different cruise lines will operate in these ports, with ten vessels making their debut in the area. Most arrivals are scheduled for the low season, aiming to boost the local economy beyond the traditional summer months.
Economic forecasts suggest a 1.5% increase in revenue compared to last year. However, port authorities remain cautious regarding how international conflicts might affect global cruise routes.
