Pope Leo XIV arrived in Barcelona this Tuesday, marking the second stage of his journey through Spain. Following his visit to Madrid, the Pontiff will undertake a busy schedule until Wednesday.
Among the most notable events of his visit are a large gathering at the Olympic Stadium, a visit to the Brians 1 prison, a stop at the abbey of Montserrat, and a mass with the blessing of the Jesus Tower at the Sagrada Familia. This latter activity coincides with the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudí.
