“"Empuriabrava is a unique setting, and we want to continue promoting innovative proposals that enhance its tourist, cultural, and family appeal. The fact that the Drone Show Festival has chosen Empuriabrava as a Costa Brava venue is the result of a commitment we began four years ago, which is now consolidated with a benchmark event. This festival combines technology, creativity, and respect for the environment, values that fully align with the destination model we aim to build."

Empuriabrava will be a host for the Drone Show Festival on July 15th and 16th, offering four free drone shows along the promenade.
Empuriabrava will host the Drone Show Festival (DSF) for the first time, the leading festival for drone shows in Catalonia, now in its fifth edition. On July 15th and 16th, the town's promenade will feature four free shows with a fleet of 300 drones, blending technology, music, and visual storytelling as part of the Festes del Carme.
Following four summers of drone shows in Empuriabrava, the Town Council of Castelló d'Empúries and Flock Drone Art are taking a step further by incorporating the municipality into the festival's official circuit. This collaboration will allow for the presentation of four distinct shows over two consecutive nights, enhancing the town's cultural and leisure offerings.
Mayor Anna Massot highlighted the significance of this milestone, emphasizing Empuriabrava's unique setting and the drive for innovative proposals. She also noted that this edition will launch the commemorative activities for Empuriabrava's 60th anniversary, to be celebrated throughout 2027.
The program on July 15th will feature 'El Somni d’Empuriabrava x300', a specially created show paying tribute to Empuriabrava's identity and surroundings, followed by 'Odyssey x300', inspired by space exploration.
On July 16th, 'Geomètrics x300' will showcase synchronized shapes and figures, concluding with 'Sota el Mar d’Empuriabrava x300', dedicated to the marine richness of the Costa Brava.
All shows are free and viewable from the promenade, underscoring the Town Council's commitment to an innovative and high-quality summer program that brings technology closer to the public.
