The city of Figueres will host the premiere of Darrera conversa de la senyoreta Llorach this Friday, a theatrical tribute to one of Catalonia's most significant cultural patrons.

Written and directed by Maurici Farré, the play stars Cristina Cantal as Isabel Llorach, the woman behind the famous Conferentia Club. The performance takes place at the Divino Hotel, formerly known as Casa Fages, offering an intimate setting that blends history with drama.

"It is like her unwritten autobiography."

The show will run on several dates through February and March, including a guided tour of the historic building. This production by Gatzara Teatre aims to recover the legacy of a woman who connected Barcelona with global intellectuals like Paul Valéry and Federico García Lorca.
