The competition will feature Unió Esportiva Figueres alongside veteran teams from PSG, Olympique de Marseille, Leganés, Palamós, and the Occitania Selection. Matches will be played over three days, starting on Friday, June 12.
The Legends Figueres Cup has a strong charitable focus. Proceeds from donations will go to the Associació Centre de Lleure El Dofí, an organization dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the Alt Empordà region. Members of this association, including players from Figueres Integra, will serve as ball boys during the tournament.
Entry to the stadium is free, with opportunities to donate to El Dofí during the matches or via a direct bank transfer (account number ES53 2100 0415 0801 0082 5016). The opening match will be on Friday, June 12, at 6:30 PM, featuring Figueres against PSG. The group stage matches will be held on Saturday, with the semi-finals and grand final scheduled for Sunday morning.
The tournament is organized by the Agrupació de Veterans de la UE Figueres, with support from the Ajuntament de Figueres, the Diputació de Girona, and UE Figueres itself. The organizers aim to expand the Legends Figueres Cup with more renowned teams in future editions.
