A traffic accident involving a car and a van has left four people injured this Monday morning on the N-260 road, as it passes through the municipality of Llançà.

The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 AM, specifically around kilometer point 21, in an area near Vilajuïga. Several units from the Mossos d'Esquadra, the Fire Department, and the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) were dispatched to the scene.
The victim in critical condition was evacuated by a medical helicopter to the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona. The other three injured individuals were also taken to the same hospital: a woman in serious condition, and a man and a minor with less serious injuries.
Due to the accident, the Servei Català de Trànsit closed traffic in both directions between kilometers 21 and 25. Vehicles traveling through the area were diverted to a secondary road while emergency teams carried out assistance and road clearance tasks.
