Over the last decade, the entity has become a fundamental pillar for collaboration between administrations, fishermen's guilds, and entrepreneurs. With an investment of over 3.5 million euros in grants, GALP Costa Brava has fostered initiatives that seek a balance between economic viability, environmental protection, and social welfare.
The organization, which includes municipalities such as Roses, Llançà, el Port de la Selva, Cadaqués, l'Escala, l'Estartit, Palamós, and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, has focused on innovation. Projects such as the Espai Juli Soler - Aula Gastronòmica de Roses exemplify the commitment to highlighting local resources.
Looking to the future, the group maintains its participation in European initiatives such as SEADITO and Life eCOadapt50. During 2025, key actions have been carried out, such as water audits in the guilds and the installation of portable desalination units on fishing vessels, consolidating a management model aimed at climate change adaptation.
