CF Peralada suffered a devastating 2-1 loss away at Vilanova i la Geltrú this Wednesday, conceding twice in the final minutes of the match at the Alumnes Obrers stadium.

The visitors took the lead in the 67th minute when Mousta Bah scored from a rebound following a strike by Genís Pinart. Àlex Marsal's side seemed destined for victory, defended by a solid performance from goalkeeper Arnau Fàbrega.
The game turned upside down in the 92nd minute when Derek Cuevas equalized for the hosts. Just two minutes later, Joan Torrents capitalized on a defensive scramble to secure the win for Vilanova, leaving the Peralada players stunned.
This result leaves Peralada potentially five points adrift of the play-off positions. They will look to bounce back this Sunday at their home ground against bottom-placed Lleida.
