The Club Natació l'Escala Empúries is organizing a solidarity event on Saturday, May 2, at Platja de les Barques to raise funds for triple-negative breast cancer research.

The Platja de les Barques in l'Escala will host the Oncoswim Solidarity Swim on Saturday, May 2. This initiative, organized by the Club Natació l'Escala Empúries, aims to raise funds for research into triple-negative breast cancer.
The event is part of the local team TriniSwim's participation in Oncoswim, a renowned solidarity swim along the Costa Brava that combines sport and solidarity to promote oncological research.
To support this important cause, the club has prepared an afternoon of activities open to all. The program will begin at five in the afternoon with the solidarity swim. An hour later, at six, there will be a zumba session open to the public. The day will conclude at seven in the evening with a solidarity concert, which will also feature a bar service.
Those interested in participating in the solidarity swim can register online. Additionally, those wishing to make a donation to the TriniSwim team can do so through a specific link.
