The Youth Department of the Roses City Council has introduced a new rowing activity within the +18 program, aimed at young adults, which will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 6th to November 3rd.

This initiative, managed by GEN Roses, will allow participants to experience rowing and enjoy a healthy sporting activity closely linked to the sea and the environment of Roses. Through this program, Youth aims to diversify the activities of the +18 program, designed to meet the interests of young adults and foster participation and relationships among them.
The Councilor for Youth, Ester Navas, highlighted that the +18 program seeks to incorporate attractive proposals for young people, leveraging one of Roses's greatest assets, the sea, to offer a rowing activity in collaboration with GEN Roses.
Pre-registration for the activity, which has 10 places, will be open from September 21st to 24th, or until places are filled, via inscripcions.roses.cat. Those who do not secure a spot can join a waiting list.
The cost for the 8-day activity will be 50 euros per participant, amounting to 6.25 euros per day. The Roses City Council covers over 70% of the actual cost, applying a 70.13% subsidy to make it more affordable. Payment must be completed between September 25th and 30th.
