The centerpiece of the Barretina Rural Fest will once again be the popular obstacle race. Organizers plan to maintain the course's core elements while introducing some new challenges and relocating certain obstacles.
A new addition this year is a costume contest for race participants, judged to enhance the festive atmosphere. The organizing team is also considering mid-concert activities to keep the energy high.
The music lineup is a major draw, promising ten continuous hours of entertainment from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM. Featured artists include Norfeu i Molina, Bannana Beach Trio, Akoblats, La James Band, and DJ K-Zu, offering a diverse range of musical styles.
Bryan Valero, an organizer, emphasized the integral role of music in the event's identity, aiming to encourage race participants to stay for the concerts. What began as a smaller initiative to support the Unió Esportiva Siurana has evolved into a significant summer kickoff celebration.
