Wind gusts, reaching 169 km/h in high areas of Portbou and exceeding 100 km/h in parts of the Pyrenees and the Terres de l'Ebre, caused various incidents. Four of the seven injured were reported in two campsites in the provinces of Lleida and Girona.
In Sant Llorenç de Montgai (Noguera), a woman and two minors sustained minor cuts from a metal sheet. Two of them were transferred to Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida. Concurrently, at a campsite in Platja d'Aro, a Belgian client received on-site treatment after a branch fell on him, leading to the preventive closure of the affected area.
The Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) also attended to two other people with minor injuries in public areas in La Jonquera. In addition to the injured, the storm caused the closure of about fifteen roads due to fallen trees and interrupted train services on lines R11 (between Figueres and Portbou) and R3 (between Vic and Ripoll) until mid-afternoon. Ski resorts La Molina and Vall de Núria had to close due to the dangerous 'torb' (blizzard), and several municipalities like Calonge, Molló, and Ulldecona experienced power outages.
The Baix Empordà region concentrated over a third of the Firefighters' responses, with gusts of up to 117 km/h in Palamós, a very unusual situation.
The Baix Empordà was the most affected region, accounting for over a third of the more than one thousand calls received by the 112 emergency service until 6 PM. In Platja d'Aro, the wind shattered a shop window, toppled about thirty trees, and dislodged elements from facades. In Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a large pine tree was uprooted in the Juli Garreta gardens. In the Alt Empordà, part of the roof of Colera's church was blown off, and in Berga, gusts of 127 km/h caused damage to the industrial estate and the municipal brigade's warehouse. The tramontana wind also created rough seas on the Costa Brava, with a wave of up to 9 meters recorded at the Begur buoy.
