The Fire Brigade, Local Police, and Emergency Medical Services (SEM) responded to the incident in the Enric Morera district. While the occupants of the affected flat were evacuated, other residents in the building were ordered to stay inside their homes as a precaution.

Access for fire trucks was hampered by narrow streets and parked vehicles, causing traffic delays in the surrounding area, including Sant Pau and Pere III streets. According to the Figueres City Council, the displaced residents will be provided with alternative accommodation for the night.
