The most notable interventions by the Local Police of La Jonquera during January included two arrests. One was of a driver who refused to take the breathalyzer test, and the other of a person who had an outstanding search and arrest warrant issued by a court.
Regarding road safety, the police force managed a total of 200 traffic complaints. Additionally, five drug detection tests were carried out that resulted positive, and 17 vehicles that were abandoned or poorly parked were removed.
Preventive tasks and the active presence of the Local Police remain key to preserving public order and ensuring respectful coexistence.
The officers also registered three municipal ordinance infractions and immobilized five vehicles. Another relevant event was the police intervention that successfully frustrated an attempted illegal occupation of a property.
