The Girona football clubs in the 2a FEF, Olot and Girona B, returned from the Balearic Islands with crucial defeats this weekend, complicating their standing in the league table.

The Girona teams in the 2a FEF suffered a major setback during their visit to the Balearic Islands. Olot fell 2-1 at the SD Eivissa pitch, with local goals scored by Castro and Bourdal, although Marc Mas managed to narrow the gap with a penalty in added time.
Meanwhile, Girona B failed to score points during their visit to the league leader, Poblenc, who won by the minimum margin (1-0) thanks to a goal by Penyafort just before halftime.
These results have had direct consequences on the league standings. The defeat moved Olot closer to the relegation zone, placing them in play-out positions. The red-and-white reserve team, Girona B, has now suffered its third consecutive defeat, also dangerously approaching the lower part of the table.
Regarding the 3a FEF, Peralada lost 3-1 in their away match against Montañesa. In contrast, L'Escala managed to secure a valuable point with a draw against Tona. Despite the mixed results, both teams maintain their seventh and sixth positions, respectively.
