The Roses Local Police have issued 83 fines to personal mobility vehicle (PMV) users during a control campaign focused on improving road safety and preventing risky behavior.

The most common violations included riding without the corresponding circulation permit (33 fines), non-compliance with helmet and protective gear usage (24), and alcohol and/or drug consumption (17). Three fines were also issued for risky driving, three for not meeting the minimum age requirement of 15 years, and one each for riding on the sidewalk, carrying more than one passenger, or lacking mandatory insurance.
The imposed fines ranged from 100 to 300 euros, depending on the severity of each infraction. The Local Police remind users to respect traffic regulations, use required protective gear, meet the minimum age, and drive appropriately.
Emphasis is placed on ensuring vehicles meet technical and administrative requirements, as using non-compliant vehicles can pose significant road safety risks. The Roses Local Police will continue conducting surveillance and awareness campaigns to enhance public space coexistence and safety.
