The Mossos d'Esquadra confirmed today, Friday, January 19, that the body found in Roses corresponds to María Flor, the 78-year-old resident who had been missing since January 4.

The identification of the body, located last Friday near an entrance to the municipality of Roses, was made possible after the autopsy was performed. Initial suspicions already suggested that it was the missing woman.
Investigators from the Mossos d'Esquadra stated that, after analyzing the body, no evidence was found to suggest that the death of María Flor was violent or that any crime had occurred.
The discovery took place around ten in the morning when a citizen walking along a path near the road alerted emergency services. Following the disappearance of María Flor on January 4, a large search operation had been activated in the Roses area.
