The event, promoted by the Roses City Council and the Roses-Cap de Creus Business Association, served to recognize the excellence, trajectory, and commitment of the local business fabric to a sustainable and innovative economic development model.
“"The Àmfora and Arjau awards are the best example of the path we must continue to follow, based on collaboration between the public administration, companies, and private economic agents."
The Àmfora Award 2026, granted by the City Council, went to Terraza Group, a leading company in the hospitality sector on the Northern Costa Brava. The group, which celebrated 90 years of history in 2025, stands out as a pioneer in quality, sustainable tourism, and a strong commitment to Roses and the Empordà.
The Arjau Award 2026, presented by the Business Association, recognized Miquel Ponsí i Rosés, the first president of the Roses Merchants Association (ACOR) between 2001 and 2011, for his decisive contribution to local commerce during a period of changing consumer habits.
During the evening, Serralleria Giner Solà was also honored for its 50 years of activity, highlighting its continuity and roots in Roses. Additionally, the Cuidem Roses seals were awarded to six companies, including Blaus de Roses and Fruites Santiago, for their commitment to reducing environmental impact and social responsibility.
