The children of poet Juan Jesús Aznar, Pol, Gerard, and Jan, presented the posthumous poetry collection El devenir de los días, considered his vital testament, in an emotional ceremony held in Roses.
The book presentation, published by Cal·lígraf, took place in the assembly hall of the Roses library and was attended by editor Jaume Torrent. Aznar, who died fifteen days before the event, had written the poems with the urgency of someone who knows time is running out, after being diagnosed with his illness last October.

"This book is a hymn to life, it is very comforting because it helps you understand it. And it is read from nostalgia, not from sadness."
Torrent recalled that Juan Jesús Aznar was not only a published author but had also been the director of the magazine Encesa Literària. The editor emphasized the intensity and quality of Aznar's writing, who put down his legacy of reflection, love, and tenderness.
The most emotional moment was the reading of selected poems by his children, including the final text, La vida y el ser, written just two days before his death on November 25. This poem, which had to be included on a separate sheet, is a serene yet joyful farewell to life.

"He always believed in libraries as disseminators of knowledge and culture and as an instrument to bring them to society, and to combat ignorance, one of the great evils of this time of misinformation."
