The festival will begin on Friday, February 6, at the Sant Esteve Church with the conference “Who was Antoni Gaudí?”, delivered by Josep M. Tarragona of the Moviment Gaudí, within the framework of the Gaudí Year. Afterwards, the Quartet Llavors will offer a classical music concert titled “Tradition and Transcendence”.
On Saturday, February 7, the activity will move to the Plaça de l’Església (Church Square) with the traditional giants display and a parade featuring the giants groups from Vila-sacra, Llers, and Espolla. In the afternoon, the Centre Cívic will host the theatrical performance of the play La Mitja Magrana, by the company La Bèstia Peluda.
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 8. The Armats de Sant Esteve will parade through the streets before the custody of the relics of Sant Blai. At noon, the solemn mass in honor of the patron saint will be held, accompanied by the Coral Veus Blanques Vila-sacra.
The festive day will conclude with a sardana vermouth and, in the afternoon, a concert and dance at the Centre Cívic performed by the renowned Orquestra Montgrins, complete with bar service. The program is organized by the Vila-sacra City Council.
