The Canònica de Santa Maria de Vilabertran will host the third edition of the EntreVeus festival on April 17, an event dedicated to oral storytelling that will take place across various locations in Catalonia. This event, promoted by the Department of Culture through the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage (ACPC), features a program of four shows between April 16 and 19, coinciding with the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
In addition to Vilabertran, the festival will also be present in other emblematic venues such as the Palau Moja in Barcelona, the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus, and the church of Sant Joan de Boí. Under the artistic direction of Patrícia McGill Ferrari, the 2026 edition aims to celebrate the connection between oral storytelling, music, dance, collective memory, and cultural heritage.
All performances will be conducted entirely in Catalan and will include interpretation services in Catalan Sign Language, ensuring accessibility for all audiences. Admission is free, but prior reservation is required to secure a spot.
Specifically in Vilabertran, on Friday, April 17, at six in the afternoon, the Canònica de Santa Maria will be the setting for the show De lladres i flors (Of Thieves and Flowers). This performance will feature the narrations of Roser Ros and Yoshi Hioki, accompanied by Anna Ros on cello, who will present stories with protagonists facing the consequences of their actions.
