Aleix Esteller, the long-serving captain of Noia Freixenet, has officially announced his retirement from professional roller hockey at the end of the current season, concluding a 19-year career in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.

Throughout nearly two decades, Esteller has remained loyal to a single club, winning major trophies including the 2008 Copa del Rey, the 2014 CERS Cup, and the 2023 Catalan League. His career began in Gelida at the age of three before joining the CE Noia youth ranks.

"In a world where everything changes very fast, being able to say that I have only played for Noia Freixenet is an immense pride."
