The 14th edition of the Lluís Barrera orienteering race will be held on Sunday, April 12, in Vilafranca del Penedès, moving from its usual dates to ensure higher attendance.

The event was officially presented at the headquarters of the Xicots de Vilafranca. The organizers, including Esportiu Penedès, stated that the new date was chosen to avoid a crowded sports calendar and encourage more people to join the competition.
The race features two main categories. The competitive long-distance route covers 20km, with markers placed in more hidden and less-known locations this year. Meanwhile, the family-oriented category will take place through the historic streets of the Alt Penedès capital.
During the presentation, students Sofia, Verònica, and Carla from the Arsenal Art School received awards for their poster designs. The event was attended by Sports Councilor Gemma Romeu. Registration for the race is now open.
