The town of Olèrdola saw an unprecedented spike in rental prices during the third quarter of 2025, with monthly averages hitting 1,100 euros, closely approaching Barcelona's figures.

Data from the Institut Català del Sòl (INCASÒL) reveals that state price caps have failed to curb increases in the Penedès region. Olèrdola now sits at the top of the ranking, followed by Torrelles de Foix, where prices surged by over 83%.
In Vilafranca del Penedès, the average rent reached 744 euros. Meanwhile, in the Baix Penedès area, Cunit recorded the highest prices at 725 euros, while Sant Jaume dels Domenys saw its average rent double.
