On Wednesday morning, a truck breakdown on the AP-7 highway, between the municipalities of Gelida and Subirats, has caused significant traffic jams heading towards Tarragona.

The incident, located between kilometers 188 and 181 of the highway, has necessitated the closure of one lane. This has resulted in a traffic backup extending for approximately seven kilometers.
The issue was first reported around 10:45 AM, leading to slow-moving traffic in the southbound direction. Drivers heading towards Tarragona from the Barcelona area should anticipate these delays on the affected stretch.
Currently, the breakdown is only impacting traffic heading towards Tarragona, and no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
