A fire originating from a truck on the AP-7 highway, near Gelida, has led to the closure of the road in both directions and impacted services on the R4 Rodalies train line.

The blaze, which began in a truck traveling on the motorway, spread to nearby vegetation. Initially, traffic on the AP-7 was completely stopped in both directions. Later, northbound traffic and one southbound lane were reopened, although queues of up to 10 kilometers were reported.
