The Xicots de Vilafranca human tower group held the 11th edition of the Heroïnes Anònimes event this Sunday in Vilafranca del Penedès to honor women's contributions to society.

The central figure of the tribute was Irene Alemany Fernández, a prestigious enologist and co-founder of the Alemany i Corrio winery. Alemany, who was a musician for the group at age 12, was recognized for her career in the wine industry. The event was attended by group president Dani Pajares and Culture Councilor Àngels Dalmau.
The festival, which commemorates Carme Alomà, the first woman to perform in the upper tiers of a human tower in the region, featured towers with entirely female structures. The Xicots were joined by groups from Barcelona and Sitges at the Milà i Fontanals square.
The highlight was a 3d6 de germanor, a joint tower where both the base and the structure were composed exclusively of women. This symbolic act marked the beginning of the group's general rehearsals for the upcoming season, starting on March 13th.
