The Vilafranca del Penedès City Council launched a campaign this February at the Saturday Market to encourage the purchase of local and sustainable products by offering reusable gifts.

The Vilafranca City Council has started a promotional action at the Saturday Market to boost Local Products. The main goal is to encourage consumption habits that are more environmentally friendly within the Alt Penedès region.

To encourage a more sustainable, responsible, and environmentally friendly purchase.

Customers who spend more than 5 euros at identified stalls will receive a stamp on a special ticket. Once the ticket is complete, it can be exchanged for a cloth bag and two reusable mesh bags for bulk shopping.
This initiative, launched this February, aims to reduce the use of single-use plastics and support local producers who participate weekly in the Vilafranca del Penedès market.
